Whipp Farm is located in Cleburne, TX and we host antique and craft shows starting on the third Fridays of April and September during our community's Antique Alley & Yard Sale. Come enjoy our 20th show - April 17 - 19, 2009.

Our September show had the best most beautiful weather for a Texas September day. September 2008 vendors & customers were from all over the state of Texas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kansas and Florida. We had visitors from the Houston area that came because of their lack of electricity from Hurricane Ike. A tour bus of ladies from Houston came by to shop. Vendors set up here from the Houston area, as well. Our prayers go out to those adversely affected by the hurricane and wish them a speedy recovery. Antiques & Collectibles dealers offer items such as antique furniture, railroad memorabilia, vintage lawn furniture, cookie jars, enamelware, antique farm equipment, vintage costume jewelry, pottery, dishes, silver, linen, depression glass, elegant glass, art glass, primitives, vintage kitchen items, cast iron, advertising signs, books, dolls, toys, bottles, coins, marbles, postcards, vintage clothing, shabby chic and cottage decor, coins, Native American artifacts, old fishing lures, reels, tools, clocks, quilts, vintage purses & hats, pedal cars, saddles, spurs, tack, books, chuck wagon and more. Arts & Crafts dealers offer items like handcrafted items such as hand crafted western items, such as western art, cowboy woks, lamps, purses, belts, saddle racks and rope baskets. They will also offer cedar western furniture, mirrors, chests, candles, handmade quilts, decorative painting and tatting, yard art, bird feeders, girly cowboy hats, candles, lotion, custom handcrafted jewelry, ornamental iron furnishings and accessories, ornamental concrete fountains, planters, handmade candles, etc. Dealers also offer other items such as cowboy hats, rustic Texas decor, hides, western art prints, Homemade Gourmet, plants, sterling silver, gold and costume jewelry, magnetic jewelry, ornamental iron, old world decor, magnetic jewelry, dolls, tools, new collectibles, toys, golf carts, purses. crosses, birdbaths, tractor collectibles, peanut brittle, baked goods, and everyone loves the homemade fried pies! Food vendors serve up items like Kettle Korn, Roasted Corn, Philly Cheese & Rib eye sandwiches, BBQ brisket, turkey legs, sausage on a stick, hamburgers, hot dogs, chili dogs, Cajun sausage dogs, giant corny dogs, San Antonio wraps, Frito pie, tamales, breakfast taquitos, hot links, baked potatoes, curly fries, French fries, frozen fruit bars, funnel cakes, snow cones, Bavarian roasted nuts pecans, cashews & almonds, fried pies and baked goods, smoothies, frozen lattes, lemonades, teas, coffee, sodas, water, milk, assorted fruit drinks.
Shelley Sims will have a fundraiser for a stem cell transplant. She has progressive multiple sclerosis. She will be offering candles and Dromeo analgesic lotion. DFW Marine Corps Families Love from Texas Care Package Project had a fundraiser in September. Visit their website for more information. Rio Vista High School Band held a raffle and sold products to raise funds for a trip. |
